Personal Experience
As my group was busy all week and couldn't do anything with me (Dorj), I drove out to Frakenmuth with my Dad to go to the Military and Space Museum. After paying the cheap entrance fee of $5, I really enjoyed looking all of the weapons for the most part. That was definitely my favorite part of the trip. After talking to one of the guides there they showed me some of the clothes that the Vietcong wore, which was basically just rags. They explained to us that they needed to keep a light weight at all times because their war strategy was to keep on the down low and to stay deep around the tunnels whilst mobile. They also fought with mostly traps, which one was still at the museum. They took traps and weapons from the U.S. like claymores and land mines and dug them up and used them against the U.S. It was really cool to visit the museum because I have never been there before, and it was a lot more exciting than I ever had thought that it was going to be. I really want my group to come next time so we have more things to talk about instead of taking it in all myself.
